White Bathroom Furniture

The reality of bathroom furniture is that people like white because it is very easy to see when it is dirty. Nobody wants to use a dirty sink or a dirty tub, and it will definitely stand out on the bright surface. That does not mean that it has to have a sterile look though.

When you are decorating your bathroom, you need to create a complete picture before you ever start. If you are going to have white walls, white furniture may not be the way to go unless you really want that very clean and sterile appearance. Now if you have a bathroom that has earth tones or darker colors, white will be something that will actually stand out.

Regardless of the room that you are decorating, you want things that will contrast. If everything is the same color and same shape, the room becomes one big blob. This is never desirable and should be avoided at all costs. When you use white with dark colors, this is exactly the effect that you get.

 Something else to consider if you are decorating your bathroom is that white goes with everything. The most expensive things in a bathroom are going to be the furnishings and fixtures. If you don't like something and have to replace those, you could be looking at hundreds, if not thousands of dollars.
